Latest Flash Reviews
Plot: This is just an adventure of a Brackenwood character, and this is where the score is a little low. It barely has any continuity with all the other episodes, so this doesn't really fit in the time scale. 6/10
Graphics: It's amazing beautiful, from the loading screen to the credits text. No doubt this strikes a startling resemblence to the disney animated movies, considering the author is a retired disney employee. The animation is fluid, and creative flash techniques are utilized fully. The camera plays a key role, and the shots were strung perfectly together. The graphics give it a 3D sort of realm when watching. Nothing short of smooth, crisp, animation with glittering flash effects.10/10
Style: What can you say? It's like a silent film, what more can you ask for? Since it is like a silent film, it deems it necessary to show the character's reactions and actions, letting the audience decide for themselves who the charcter's persona is. The main character is plotted out well, and stays the same, yet most scenes are humorous. 9/10
Sound: Beautiful. It's like a perfect video-to-flashmovie translation in terms of sound and audio. 10/10
Overall: The positives are the crisp sound, unique style, incredibly smooth animation, great camera/shot work, and silent humor. Only negative is the lack of deeper plot. Overall? Excellent for silent film fans, and even so, a remarkably beautiful flash for everyone to enjoy, from disney art fans to the underaged NG user.

"3 words: Incredible, and random"
Brain Hanging Upside Down
Graphics: 8
Wow. The amount of effort (4 months) has not been wasted. From the stunning amount of people involved in this collaboration, to the beautiful graphics. Yes, there is sprites. However, there were hand drawn graphics. The hand drawn graphics resemble more of an artistic way of drawing. The colors went well with the bright graphics, and when the characters moved, it was smooth.
Style: 10
Brains hanging upside down? Just for the title, I should give this a 10 out of 10 for style. Better yet, there are separate parts in the collaboration itself, so you would know exactly who drew them. The music seemed too surreal at the beginning, but it's the type of song that grows on you. In other words, the music fit well with the high action intensity in the movie. And it seemed to be a music video, I think.
Sound: 9
The song that plays in the movie grows on you. Yet, it has some fast and slow parts to keep up with the moving sprites and animations. It's a good choice. Especially when it comes to the fast moving animation.
Violence: 7
This was hard to review, simply because the animation moved so fast that some fighting parts couldn't be seen too well. However, there was enough for me to review. Some fighting parts were a bit gory, and some fights turned out to be comedy. Both hurt the score a little bit.
Humor: 10
Randomness, randomness, randomness. However, not particularly bad in any sense. The humor just flowed well with the movie. From brains attacking a black guy, to a 52 card "game". The nice thing was everyone had at least one funny part.
Overall: 9
Maybe it might not be in the Top 100, maybe it will. But I'll tell you one thing. If you're SLIGHTLY interested in stuff like Arfenhouse, Stuffed Animal Babies, etc... then I think you'll thoroughly enjoy this well planned and well executed flash.
Positives:
-Each person had a separate part and it could be easily recognized
-Nice coloring effects
-Smooth motion
-Humor was flawless
-Long enough
Negatives:
-A little bit more plot, shall I say?
-More hand-drawn graphics (You guys were brilliant with your OWN graphics, and they look 10x better than overused sprites)
-Seemed like a Sprite movie
Author's Response:
Thanks man.
I actually wanted a bit of sprites there, I wanted it to have drawn graphics and sprites, like the Daft Punk Collab.

King Of Fighters Part 1
Graphics: 8
The graphics were smooth, and the graphics resembled a cross between Alien Hominid and Hyperboy. The introduction sort of got you pumped to fight someone, anyone! The backgrounds were either ok or pretty nice, since it's simplistic; yet effective.
Style: 8
Yes, there's a lot of flash involving fighting. But this one is different. It has probably 40% fighting, and 60% humor. But the fact that everything was moving so smoothly and the cute graphics won me over with an 8 out of 10 for style. Also, some parts were intense and got you pumped!
Sound: 8
This is were most of the marks go to. The sound in the introduction (Eye of the Tiger by Survivor) was crystal clear. The voices for the characters gave a distinct, yet clear and understandable accent. However, some parts you needed to boost the volume up because everyone's talking so quietly. Then all of a sudden the sound quality jumps and scares the crap out of you! The music selection was just perfect, matching the tone well.
Violence: 7
Surprisingly, there is little violence, yet you would expect that from the title. When there is violence, however, it is quick and fast and smooth as well. The punches and kicks meet it's standards.

Humor: 10
Aah, the superb humor. From the cute and funny intro to the end, it's a fun-filled ride. The short training message saying that the master taught everything he knew was fantastic! There's so much humor, and the training parts are awesome! The best funny is the unexpected funny, and this one hits it out of the park.
Overall: 9
Well made, well done. The graphics were smooth and realistic, the style was standard, the sound was very clear, the violence was a little weak, and the humor is the high point.
Positives:
-Excellent choice of music that fits the tone
-Funny dialogue
-Humor is nicely presented
-Fast, smooth, and clear graphics
Negatives:
-Needs more work with the fighting parts
-Jumping sound quality
-Needs to be longer
Author's Response:
I have to say I have never gotten a review so well-written.
Thankyou so much for this! It not only boosts my confidence towards flash but tells me what I need to work on and what to tweak.
Great review dude : )
Glad you enjoyed the flash.
